Track 3

Run the Operation

Great medicine needs a calm operation underneath it. This track is about schedules, workflows, and the weekly rhythm that replaces daily firefighting.

Core lesson

The 45-minute weekly leadership meeting

Same day, same time, same agenda — every week. Keep it tight:

  • Scorecard (10 min): last week’s numbers, on or off track
  • Priorities (10 min): the top three things that must move this quarter
  • Issues (20 min): solve the most important problems, not all of them
  • Wrap-up (5 min): who owns what, by when

The meeting isn’t the point. The decisions — and the follow-through — are.

Coming to this track

  • Fixing appointment bottlenecks
  • Building systems that run without you
  • Delegation for owners who hate letting go
  • Managing two (or more) locations
